Lost Packages

With mail order, a package may occasionally be lost, delivered to the wrong address or stolen. If Compass Rose is deemed responsible for the loss, we will be 100% responsible for the cost of the replacement item and postage. Also, in some cases a delivered package is stolen from the end user’s property. In these cases, CR can advise the end user to contact local law enforcement or to check with their homeowner’s insurance company. Common carriers use increasingly sophisticated proof of delivery technology including precise delivery GPS location and / or photos. With mail order there is a small risk of loss. Compass Rose will only be responsible for carrier losses that are deemed to be our fault.
